A few of our employees choose to live in Pemberton with its reduced housing costs. We work in Pemberton roughly 10% of the time and for the days we work in Whistler, the commute is usually only 20-30 minutes (and we carpool). Garibaldi Tree is owned and operated by Paul Duncan, an ISA-certified arborist (PN-0299). An ISA-certified arborist is a highly-trained and certified arborist who has undergone testing in most aspects of arboriculture. They must also adhere to a code of ethics that ensures ethical behaviour to clients, employers, employees, and the public as well as ISA and the profession.
Paul also holds the ISA TRAQ qualification for Tree Risk Assessments and possesses an honour’s diploma in horticulture from Kwantlen University College.
In addition to Paul’s certifications, all of our employees are trained in first aid, chainsaw use and rescue procedures. Safety is Garibaldi Tree’s top priority. To view our team’s certifications, visit our Insurance & Certifications page.
