ISA Certified Arborist®

An ISA-certified arborist is a highly-trained arborist who has undergone testing in all aspects of arboriculture. Arborists certified by the ISA must also adhere to a code of ethics.

Arborists certified by the ISA must also adhere to a code of ethics that ensures ethical behaviour to clients, employers, employees, and the public as well as ISA and the profession.

First aid certifications

All of our employees have some form of first-aid training. We also have one employee with a nursing degree and another with a wilderness first aid responder certification.

All of Garibaldi Tree’s crew members have had some form of first-aid training. We also have one member on staff with a wilderness first aid responder certification. Safety is #1 for our team.

Beware of companies that don’t offer this info. Without it, you will be held liable for any injuries and damages that occur on your property.

Liability Insurance

The tree company should carry and willingly offer a copy of their liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $5,000,000.

ISA Certification

There should be an ISA-certified arborist on staff. You can verify an ISA certification here or search for an ISA-certified arborist here.

WorkSafeBC Compliance

If a company is not registered and in compliance with WorkSafeBC, you put yourself at risk. Search for a company’s status here.
